Hygiene in der Praxis: Certified Training and Consulting

Dresden April 28th, 2016: The doctorate scientist Dr. Helge Hanitzsch from now on offers different certified courses for Hygiene Supervisor particularly in radiology and medical practices and skills training for disinfection in medical supply stores. In addition, consulting on the hygiene of start-ups and established businesses are conducted. The new web presence of the Division “Hygiene in der Praxis” of the medical supply store Dr. Hanitzsch can be reached immediately at www.hygienehanitzsch.de. The new Web site contains all the important information about the hygiene in practice.

The latest course Hygiene Commissioner in radiology, which took place from 6.-9.4.2016 in Bremen, Germany, has been provided in cooperation with Bracco Imaging Deutschland, Hygiene Institut-Schubert, as well as Dr. Helge Hanitzsch, expert in Hygiene and Disinfection.

In total 16 participants, such as technical assistants in radiology, as well as one radiologist have finalized the course with certificate by passing the exam successfully. Besides Dr. Helge Hanitzsch speakers have been Dr. Klaus-Peter Lodemann, as well as Jörg Effertz both of Bracco Imaging.

In order to teach the rather dry legal texts and other subjects, the contents haven been illustrated by practical examples.

The legal parts are trained in three parts in order to make it more diversified. The speakers related the audience actively in the talks with a leading and relevant dialogues with the participants. The two representatives of the company Bracco Imaging mediated specifically about hygiene when handling contrast agent and contrast agent injection machines. The practice was not neglected. Using fluorescence monitoring the proper hand disinfection was practiced, which was previously perceived through educational films.

The participants completed the course by passing the multiple choice examination and will then receive a verified EurAS-Cert certificate as hygiene officer in radiology. This document can be re-certified in two years, which all participants want to do again.
